Advisers required for major construction project in Banda Aceh, Indonesia – Applicants must have previous experience and speak Mandarin is preferred

Australian Skills Training (AST) is a training and consulting company that specializes in Industrial and technical skills. AST has offices and training centre’s in Australia, Singapore, and Indonesia, and provides services to major construction projects internationally.

AST is seeking to employ (7) experienced Safety Advisers for a major construction project in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The duration of employment is a minimum of six months, with opportunities for ongoing work with other AST projects.

Safety Adviser

As a Safety Advisor you will be responsible for:

• Providing guidance, support and advice regarding Health & Safety issues
• Monitor and report on the implementation of Health & Safety objectives and targets
• Promptly alert the Health & Safety Manager of all significant incidents/injuries
• Schedule and conduct site inspections, audits and communication meetings
• Ensure all activities are appropriately risk assessed and review the effectiveness of Health & Safety risk controls
• Manage corrective and preventative actions

The successful applicants will require a minimum of 3-5 years experience with demonstrated experience in construction health and safety or similar role, and qualifications in Health and Safety
